March 2019 Hi all, it has been fabulous re-looking at these old and new photos, I can't even believe we have been out of high school for 40 years. Todd and I are first time and very proud grandparents, Ellie was born 10 months ago and we have been loving every minute of it. We still live in town, in the home Todd grew up in. It is interesting to watch as the town grows and changes, some good, some not so, but we still love it here! I'm sorry to say I can't make it to the reunion, I will be on-call that weekend, but will look forward to seeing the pictures. Hope you all have a fantastic time.
Thirty years have just flown by! Thanks for all the people who posted old pictures, it has been alot of fun to check out.
After school, I divided my time between work, school, and partying. Met Todd in 1980, and fell in love almost right away! We got married in 1982, and have been enjoying all that life brings! Met God around the time our first daughter was born, and now can see His hand in all that has happened in my life.
I was truely blessed to be able to stay home with our girls until our youngest, Trish started school. At that point, I got my nursing license, and started to work in long term care. I have done a few other things, but I love geriatrics, it is a great field.
The administrator where I work decided to pursue starting a hospice program, so with research and hard work I was able to help with the creation of this, and we were medicare certified last May. What a joy to assist families in their time of greatest need.
I have to say, in all I have done, I have learned that life is so fragile and short. Enjoy what is given you, old and new friends, family, health. It can end at any time, as the "In memory" section of this site attests.
